Documentary filmmakers from all over the world can enter.
Non-governmental association Artdoc Fest & Media is organizing the annual IDFF Artdocfest/Riga documentary film festival, which will take place in Riga on March 1 – 8, 2025.
Filmmakers can submit works for the following competitions:
- The ‘Baltic Focus’ competition accepts films produced in the Baltic Sea Region countries (Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia (independently funded) and Sweden) or co-produced with any of these countries.
- The open competition ‘Artdocfest’ welcomes films from all over the world, with an accent on documentary cinema and processes in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
- The out-of-competition programs accept films produced all over the world.
The deadline is Dec. 15.
