Knight Science Journalism offers project fellowships [US]

Journalists with at least three years covering science, technology, the environment or medicine can apply for this remote fellowship.

The Knight Science Journalism Program at MIT is accepting candidates for the KSJ Project Fellowships for the 2021-22 academic year.

These fellowships are designed to support independently conceived projects: books, investigations and documentaries.

Candidates can select a nine-month, US$40,000 fellowship from September 2021 to May 2022; a four-month, US$20,000 fellowship from September 2021 to mid-January 2022; or a four-month, US$20,000 fellowship from mid-January 2022 to May 2021.

The deadline is June 6.
