Journalists in the states of Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Sergipe e Rio Grande do Norte can compete for this award.
Semear Internacional organizes a journalism contest to honor stories on rural practices developed by projects supported by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Brazil.
The categories are print media, television, radio and internet. The first and second place winners in each category will receive BRL12,500 and BRL5,000, respectively.
Works must have been broadcast or published between Jan. 15, 2020 and May 5, 2021.
The deadline is May 10.
