Media organizations and journalists can apply for a grant.
The European Union is accepting proposals for projects on media freedom and investigative journalism.
Projects must must cover one of three actions: a Europe-wide response mechanism for violation of press and media freedom; cross-border investigative journalism; and investigative journalism and media freedom in the European Union.
Eligible organizations must be established in EU Member States.
The total budget available is EUR4,175,000.
The deadline is Sept. 27.
