Journalists ages 21 to 30 from the European Union, the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) and Russia can participate in this workshop.
The M100 Young European Journalists Workshop is organized with support from the Federal Foreign Ministry and National Endowment for Democracy (NED). The workshop will be conducted as a decentralized, online event over the course of six weeks.
This year’s program will focus on the future of journalism in a global world. Topics include how COVID-19 is changing journalism, business models for regional quality journalism and how to raise awareness for the value of journalism.
The workshop connects actors in the diverse fields of journalism, political education work, social media and web video. The results will be widely disseminated and presented at the international media conference M100 Sanssouci Colloquium.
The workshop will be held in English.
The deadline is July 31.
