Journalists, 20 to 30, from the European Union and the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) can participate in this workshop.
The M100 Young European Journalists Workshop is organized with support from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. The event will take place Sept. 10 to 14 in Potsdam, Germany. This year's topic is "Reporting on Climate Change – and its Significance for Democracy."
Participants will examine the quality of climate reporting in different European countries, look at it from different perspectives and work out criteria for successful climate journalism. One day of the workshop will introduce participants to investigative research on environmental risks and impacts at the international level.
Participants can attend the M100 Sanssouci Colloquium, which will be held in Potsdam on Sept. 14.
The workshops will be held in English.
The deadline is June 30.
