Photographers who reside in Brazil can enter a contest.
The Culture Foundation of the State of Bahia is organizing the Pierre Verger National Photography Prize with the aim to promote Brazilian photography.
The contest has three categories: ancestry and representation; documentary photography; and innovation and experimentation in photography.
Each category winner will receive BRL30,000.
The deadline is May 30.
