Journalists, civil society activists and bloggers can compete for an award.
The Investigative Journalism Foundation, Internews in Kyrgyzstan and Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan are accepting entries for the Ulanbek Egizbaev Prize for the best journalistic investigation.
Submissions can be in Kyrgyz or Russian and must have been published or broadcast in 2023.
The winner, author or a group of authors of the best journalistic investigation of this year, will receive a cash prize of KGS100,000, a trophy and a diploma.
The deadline is Jan. 5, 2024.
