Journalists and publicists from Central and Eastern Europe, as well as refugees from states with a lack of press freedom, can apply.
The Bremen regional association of the German Journalists Association (DJV) announces the Marie Mindermann bursary, which aims to support professionally or formerly professionally active journalists who had to leave their home country.
The program will allow journalists living in exile to realize a journalistic project of their choice independently.
The scholarship amount is EUR5,000; the money will be paid in 12 monthly installments.
The deadline is Oct. 31
