Journalists and students practicing constructive journalism can apply.
For the fifth consecutive year, NEW6S is hosting the Constructive Journalism Awards to highlight the work of news professionals and journalism students who are committed to constructive journalism.
The award has three categories: professional - short form, professional - long format, and student.
Entries must have been published or broadcast for the first time between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2022.
The winner in each category will receive a trip to Europe, including training to hone their constructive journalism skills. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on March 23, 2023.
The deadline is Jan. 6, 2023.
