Journalists covering environmental and/or climate change issues in any Spanish-speaking country in Latin America may apply for this opportunity.
Fundación Gabo, in partnership with the Open Climate Reporting Initiative (OCRI) calls for applications for an intensive workshop on investigative journalism and climate change, to be held in Mexico City, Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.
Instructor Glòria Pallarès will provide participants with resources and tools to conduct investigative reporting on climate change, including knowledge on the impact of corruption on climate issues.
Selected candidates will be required to pay a US$100 registration fee, and will receive airfare, lodging and meals to attend the training.
The deadline is Aug. 1.
