AFP is seeking an English-language digital verification editor with strong digital investigation skills to join its Hong Kong office.
The successful candidate will edit fact-checks for the AFP Fact Check website as part of a dedicated regional team covering 15 countries and territories in the Asia Pacific, helping digital verification journalists in AFP's bureaus in the region to identify misinformation to debunk.
Interested candidates should be able to easily detect false news and write clear explainers for an international audience, with a demonstrable interest in the region.
Experience in verification techniques and fact-checking would be ideal, but training will be provided.
