Journalists living in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela can apply for this training in Spanish.
Diálogo Chino, the journalism platform dedicated to better understanding the China-Latin America relationship, launches a training fellowship for journalists focused on the expansion of the Chinese economy in the region. The activity will take place in Santa Fe de Antioquia, Colombia on Feb. 8 to 9, 2022.
Participants will acquire knowledge and tools for better reporting on the social and environmental impacts of Chinese-backed infrastructure projects in the region.
Eight fellows will be selected and their travel, food and accommodation expenses will be covered for the duration of the training.
The deadline to apply is Jan. 7, 2022.
