Photographers with at least three to five years’ experience in newsroom photo editing can apply for this remote position.
The photo editor will work closely with the senior photo editor and photo team, and collaborate with reporters, editors and GPJ staff to contribute to visual curation and presentation on globalpressjournal.com. In addition, the photo editor will coach reporters through technical challenges and help them diagnose issues and solutions.
Interested candidates should have advanced proficiency in photograph editing software, specifically Lightroom and Photo Mechanic. Management experience and knowledge of multiple languages are a plus.
This contractual nine-month position offers a US$36,000 compensation.
