Posted on Nov 11, 2021 发表在 Digital and Physical Safety

Journalists and journalism students can attend this free online course.

The National Federation of Journalists in Brazil (FENAJ), in partnership with the Human Rights Fund from the Netherlands, is hosting the free online course "How to protect yourself from online attacks and threats."

The course is part of a project that has been monitoring violence against journalists and press freedom in Brazil. The training goal is to teach journalists how to report and defend themselves from online attacks.

The one-day course will be held on Nov. 27 and will address topics such as digital safety and privacy; journalists' presence in social media; and how to respond to online attacks: legal measures and control tools from platforms.

Registration deadline is Nov. 25.
