Reporters and editors worldwide can tune in for a free webinar focused on the coverage of LGBTQ+ communities.
Poynter, with support from the Gill Foundation, is hosting the webinar “How to improve your coverage of LGBTQ+ communities.” The webinar will teach journalists how to accurately cover and meaningfully engage LGBTQ+ people.
Journalists will learn best practices for reporting on people who identify as LGBTQ+, how to include queer voices in all of their coverage, and ideas for engaging underrepresented and often neglected people.
The webinar will be held on Oct. 25.
