Journalists and other media professionals working for minority-language media in the European Union can apply for this program.
The International Press Institute (IPI) and the European Association of Daily Newspapers in Minority and Regional Languages (MIDAS) have launched the NewsSpectrum Fellowships.
The program will distribute 40 fellowships in two different schemes.
The Collaborative Reporting Fellowship will support reporting projects carried out by journalists working at minority-language media in collaboration with a majority-language media outlets.
The Professional Placement Fellowship will enable short-term work placements or study visits by minority-language media professionals at majority-language media.
Minority-language fellowship applicants and their majority-language partners will receive grants up to EUR6,000.
The deadline is Sept. 27.
