Journalists reporting on climate change and the environment in Africa can enter this contest.
The Pan-African Climate Justice Alliance is accepting entries for the African Climate Change and Environment Reporting (ACCER) Awards 2020, a biennial initiative that recognizes excellence in climate change and environmental journalism in Africa.
Awards will be given in four categories: print journalism, radio journalism, television journalism and online journalism.
Entries must have been published or aired between Aug. 1, 2018 and July 31, 2020, in English or French. Submissions in other languages must include a translation into English. An author can submit more than one story.
The deadline is Sept. 30.
