The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is looking for a short-term consultant to serve as a Haiti media coordinator for its “Promoting Security and Freedom of Expression for the Media (PROSAFE Media)” program.
Responsibilities include producing a map of the media landscape in Haiti; recruiting journalists in Haiti to participate in the ICFJ’s virtual training events and programs; and assisting with recruitment for opportunities in conjunction with ICFJ and its Colombian-based partner, CONNECTAS.
Candidates must have seven to 10 years of experience and a good understanding of the media sector in Haiti as well as connections with media professionals. Past experience producing research is a plus.
