Aspiring journalists 26 and younger with an associate's degree or less can apply for this program.
La Chance, which promotes diversity in the media, offers a free course. Each year, 400 volunteer journalists train around 80 students for the journalism school entry tests in Paris, Marseille, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Grenoble and Rennes.
Applicants will be shortlisted for an interview. A written exercise will be sent to those on the shortlist and must be brought to the interview, which will take place in October.
The preparation course will take place between mid-November and June.
The deadline to apply is Sept. 10.
