Journalism research publication calls for papers [Brazil]

Journalism professors, students and professionals can submit a paper to this publication. 

The Brazilian Association of Journalism Researchers (SBPJor, in Portuguese) seeks articles on journalism and algorithms for the Brazilian Journalism Research Journal.

Papers should provide empirical evidence and relevant case studies on the development and consequences of algorithmic journalism or propose innovative theoretical and/or methodological approaches.

Possible topics include: algorithms and data journalism; dataviz and journalism; journalism, artificial intelligence and natural language software; algorithms, politics and disinformation; algorithms, journalism and digital humanities; algorithms, privacy and journalism; ethics, algorithm and journalism; and more.

Articles must have between 40,000 and 55,000 characters with spaces and may be in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

The deadline is March 30, 2020.
