опубликовано Feb 1, 2022 в Environmental Reporting

Journalists from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda can apply for this reporting grant.

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is selecting 10 journalists in East Africa to report on issues related to wildlife trafficking, conservation and protection efforts.

Preferred stories must be incisive, in-depth and solutions-focused on conservation and wildlife that put human experiences at the center of the storytelling. Stories should focus on proven adaptations and responses to ongoing challenges.

The grants, which will average US$800, are intended to cover travel and field reporting costs. Stories can be produced in English, Kiswahili or local languages.

Applicants must have a track record of covering conservation and wildlife stories.

The deadline is Feb. 9.
