Conference calls for papers on migration [MENA]

Journalists, academics and students from the Arab world are invited to submit their papers to this conference in Warwick, United Kingdom.

"The Arab World as Ghurba: Citizenship, Identity and Belonging in Literature and Popular Culture" will take place June 21, 2019 at the University of Warwick. The event is funded by the Humanities Research Center and the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies,

The conference is interested in how migration to the Arab world appears in culture and what this documentation tells about the Arab world as a migrant destination.

Abstracts should have a maximum of 300 words.

The deadline is Dec. 30.
