The Escuela de Periodismo UAM/El País is organizing a one-day workshop on Africa reporting June 1 in Madrid.
The workshop will address some of the essential aspects when reporting on areas of conflict and humanitarian crises in Africa. The stereotyped image of the continent will also be discussed.
The instructor, freelance journalist José Naranjo, will give recommendations to report positively on African issues.
The deadline is May 24. The cost is EUR50.
