Media training on climate change and environmental justice [Middle East]

Early-career journalists and fresh graduates from the MENA region, with an interest in environmental journalism, can apply for this online training program. 

AMWAJ, in collaboration with the Heinrich-Boell-Stiftung Middle East, is organizing an online training program for 20 journalists from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt.

This training will combine lectures, group work and interactive discussions to help journalists understand key concepts, approaches and notions related to reporting on climate change and environmental justice in the MENA region.

The training will consist of a series of online sessions, with two half-day sessions every two weeks, spanning over two months.

Successful applicants should have one to two years of experience in journalism.   

Candidates must submit examples of their published work, CV and a cover letter in the application form.

The deadline for applications is March 3.
