Newsrooms based in Cote d’Ivoire or Senegal can participate in a fellowship.

Code for Africa (CfA) is accepting applications for the African Academy for Open Source Investigation (AAOSI) Fellowships to mentor newsrooms in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal. The program aims to equip journalists from investigative media and watchdog NGOs with open source intelligence (OSINT) and SOCMINT forensic analysis skills.

The fellowship seeks to enhance information integrity in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal by tackling misinformation, hate speech and propaganda, while also strengthening local media and civil society resilience.

Participating newsrooms will receive financial, technical and publishing support.

The deadline is Feb. 12.
