Early-career photojournalists based in India can apply for a fellowship to work at Reuters' Delhi bureau.
Reuters' newly established Danish Siddiqui Photojournalism Fellowship is seeking early-career Indian photojournalists. The fellowship honors Danish Siddiqui, a Pulitzer-winning Indian photojournalist who died on duty in Afghanistan in 2021.
This 12-month fellowship will offer hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to Reuters' global news coverage through its Delhi bureau under the mentorship of Reuters' experienced South Asia Picture Editor. The fellowship begins May 5.
Interested applicants must be Indian citizens or permanent residents and recent graduates or photojournalists with five years or less of professional experience. They should have a strong portfolio showcasing compelling visual storytelling abilities and excellent written and spoken English.
