Nikkei Asia’s “Untold Story of Chip War” is a new series of discussions focused on this competition and its impact on the tech industry. The latest session, “Global tech supply chains under a new U.S. president,” will be held on Nov. 27.

The panelists will discuss how Donald Trump's return as U.S. president is likely to change U.S. semiconductor and trade policies, and what those changes might mean for the global chip industry and the broader tech supply chain.

The webinar will feature three panelists, each with deep knowledge of the sector: Chris Miller, the author of the book “Chip War: The Fight for the World’s most Critical Technology”; Yeo Han-koo, former trade minister of South Korea and currently a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics; as well as Taipei-based Nikkei Asia Chief Tech Correspondent Cheng Ting-Fang.
