Journalists based in the U.S. with at least three years of professional experience can apply for a fellowship.
The Ida B. Wells Society is offering its 2025 Investigative Reporting Fellowship. This free, intensive program will bring professional journalists to Atlanta, GA to sharpen their investigative reporting skills under the guidance of some of the most accomplished reporters and editors in the industry.
Fellows will meet in Atlanta for up to a week, once a month from February through July 2025. They will delve into topics related to investigative reporting including: the investigative reporting mindset; data journalism; process and development; and interviewing and writing for investigations.
Up to 12 fellows will be selected for the program.
The deadline is Dec. 6.
