News organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean reporting on human rights can apply for this program.

Digital Defenders is seeking advocacy organizations, collectives or networks for human rights to offer guidance on digital security practices.

The program will select four organizations that will be assisted by a holistic security expert through a six to 18-month period. The aim is to strengthen the participant's security strategies in a sustainable way.

Eligible candidates include news and media organizations (journalists, media workers, citizen journalists), and organizations working with communities of African descent, people with disabilities, environmental activists, women's rights, native people, and LGBTQIA+ activists.

The application deadline is Feb. 15.
