Journalists can register to attend this training.
ICFJ’s Pamela Howard Forum on Global Crisis Reporting, in partnership with the Media Diversity Institute and the Andalus Institute for Tolerance & Anti-violence Studies, offer a three-session training on hate speech, on Jan 30, Feb 6 and 13.
Certificates of attendance will be given to the participants and the organizers will provide up to three grants.
The training will be taught by Sara Hteit, who works with DW Akademie in providing trainings that aim at sharpening the capabilities of media professionals and journalists in a variety of fields such as mobile journalism, storytelling, data journalism and media literacy.
She has also lately started producing educational videos on data journalism since it is essential in the era of digitization. In addition, Hteit collaborates with local and international organizations such as UNESCO, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, the British Council and the Lebanese University.
