Journalists based in the United States who are covering the 2022 midterm elections for Latinx audiences can apply for training.
The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), in partnership with WhatsApp, is offering four digital security trainings on the eve of the U.S. midterm elections. The virtual trainings will also cover election-related disinformation.
The trainings will be in Spanish and English (with simultaneous interpretation into both languages) and will take place in mid-late October.
Journalists who participate in the trainings will also be eligible for an in-person training in spring 2023 in Washington, D.C.
The application deadline is Oct. 12.
