Scholarship for Excellence in Francophone Journalism [Tunisia]

Students from the Institut de Presse et des Sciences de l'Information in Tunisia who wish to study in France can apply.

The Institut de Presse et des Sciences de l'Information (IPSI), the École Publique de Journalisme de Tours (EPJT) and the Embassy of France in Tunisia are launching the first Scholarship for Excellence in Francophone Journalism.

This program will allow a French-speaking IPSI student currently enrolled in a graduate program to pursue a professional master's degree at EPJT in France, starting in September.

If the grantee passes the end-of-year exams, he or she will be awarded a French Master's degree in journalism, in addition to his or her Tunisian diploma, and will be able to extend his or her experience with an internship in a French newsroom.

During the year, his or her tuition, housing and daily living expenses will be fully covered by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Here is the profile organizers are looking for:

  • Perfectly French-speaking student (oral/written).
  • Good command of different journalistic genres.
  • Good school and university results.
  • A first previous experience in a French-speaking media or media is mandatory.
  • Availability from Aug. 25, 2022 to Aug. 31, 2023.

The deadline is April 29.
