Madraj, ICFJ offer training for media startups [MENA]

Journalists from Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Syria or Lebanon can apply for this training in Jordan.

In partnership with the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) and with support from the Aljazeera Media Institute, Madraj is accepting applications for a new training program titled “Towards sustainable and innovative media.”

The three-month program, which aims to support and launch independent digital media projects, provides training and supervision on the concepts of modern media, digital journalism ethics, preparing business plans, and developing the appropriate administrative model, among others.

Applicants must be between the ages of 21 to 40 and have journalism and/or media background, with special interest in business administration, marketing, information technology or programming.

The deadline is Feb. 15.
