ICFJ seeks consultant [MENA]

Experienced journalists across the MENA region can apply for this part-time position.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is looking for a consultant for the IJNet Arabic Mentoring Center for Media Startups in the Middle East and North Africa, now in its eighth year. 

Responsibilities include assisting in the selection process of Mentoring Center participants, providing progress and final reports for the IJNet team, as well as assisting the IJNet Arabic editor and the IJNet manager in identifying volunteers and/or trainers to participate on panels during the two-day entrepreneurship bootcamp in Amman, Jordan.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience working in journalism in the MENA region and in teaching at the university level and/or training professional journalists. Applicants must be fluent in both Arabic and English.

This position requires 25 hours’ commitment per month on average.
