Journalists born after Jan. 1, 1993 and with little professional journalistic experience are invited to apply.
The member radio stations of Médias Francophones Publics are organizing the René Payot Scholarship.
The winner will complete one or more courses in radio journalism in one or more radio newsrooms that are members of the Médias Francophones Publics: Radio‐Canada, France Médias Monde (RFI), Radio France, la RTBF (Radio Télévision Belge Francophones) and RTS (Radio Télévision Suisse).
The grant covers up to EUR7,000, including travel and living expenses where the winner chooses to carry out his or her professional training. The internship will last at least three months.
Candidates must not have a permanent contract and must not have worked as an on-air radio journalist for more than 150 days as of Jan. 1, 2021.
The application deadline is April 16.
