East-West Center organizes leadership program in Taiwan [Asia Pacific]

Budding to midcareer professionals from all backgrounds ages 25 to 38 are encouraged to apply.

The East-West Center seeks applicants for the 2021 Pacific Islands Leadership Program with Taiwan (PILP).

The program is intended to strengthen participants’ knowledge and understanding of key economic, social, political, health, educational and environmental issues affecting the Pacific Islands region.

Fellows are scheduled to meet Sept. 24 to Oct. 21 in Honolulu for the first phase of the program, followed by a trip to Taiwan.

Citizens from the Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu are eligible.

The deadline is Feb. 1.
