Publicado em Sep 10, 2020 em Journalism Basics

Aspiring photojournalists can enter this competition.

The James Alan Cox Foundation provides financial support to student photographers of high school and college age.

The contest is open to photo and video entries, although high school applicants should only submit still photographs.

Works must "tell a story." Stories about the COVID-19 pandemic are encouraged.

There are three types of awards. Five high school students will receive digital SLR cameras. College or technical school students can compete for one of five US$2,500 scholarships, and graduate students can apply for a US$2,500 scholarship.

The deadline is Nov. 15.
