Media entrepreneurs in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Ethiopia can apply for this fund.
HEVA, in partnership with the European Commission and Agence Française de Développement (AFD), has launched the East African Growth Fund to invest in creative businesses, including digital media.
The fund is designed to support businesses in restructuring interrupted supply chains; increasing production capacity; diversifying offerings; increase market share; increasing integration in local and regional value-chains; supporting the transition to low-touch and digital capabilities, and more.
The investment amount varies from US$20,000 to US$50,000.
Businesses must have been in operation for at least two years.
