The Thomson Reuters Foundation is organizing a remote training workshop Aug. 17 to 28 to provide journalists with the skills and knowledge needed to better understand and report on the most topical public health care issues in the Asia Pacific region..
The workshop will feature a blend of lively interactive online sessions, expert briefings, discussions, practical exercises and simulations.
Applicants must be full-time journalists or regular contributors working for media organizations based in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as have a minimum of five years of professional experience and either specialize in health reporting or have demonstrable interest in covering this sector.
The deadline is Aug. 7.
