Young Arab filmmakers, producers and directors can submit their works to compete in this film festival in Saudi Arabia.
MBC AL AMAL (The hope) is accepting entries for the short film pitch competition, which will take place during the Red Sea Film Festival March 13 to 16.
The competition is open to documentaries, horror films, animations, drama and comedy, tackling humanitarian or societal issues relevant to the region.
Ten selected short film finalists will be invited to the festival to receive pitch training and present their ideas to experienced jurors from the industry.
Four winners will work with a budget of US$25,000 each to make their short film (maximum length of 15 minutes).
The deadline is March 1.
