International seminar for journalists open [Eastern Europe]

Journalists ages 16 to 35 who live in Council of Europe Member states, Belarus or Kosovo can apply for this seminar.

The Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe is organizing the international seminar "Critical journalism in digital era: youth’s access to non-biased information" July 2 to 7 in Georgia.

The project will explore topics of digital rights, youth’s participation on the internet and new online tools on how to strengthen communication with the online public.

The sessions will include theoretical inputs, work in small groups, workshops, discussions, training and other interactive methods of non-formal learning.

The organizers will provide working materials, visa, accommodation and food during the event and pay 80 to 90 percent of travel cost. The participating fee varies from EUR20 to EUR50 depending on the country. Applicants for whom paying this fee is an obstacle for participation should apply and mention this issue in their application.

The deadline is May 19.
