The UONGOZI Institute of African Leadership for Sustainable Development is accepting entries for its annual Leadership Essay Competition.

This year, contestants must write about their perspective on leadership as it relates to sustainable development in Africa, answering the question: “If you were an African leader, how would you promote African intra-trade to unlock agricultural potential in the Continent?”

Essays must be written in English.

The top five essays will be selected. The overall winner will be awarded US$2,000. They will receive their awards at an online event during the African Leadership Forum in July 2020.

The submission deadline is July 10.
