The Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) has launched the Ray Reece Excellence in Environmental Journalism Student Award, as part of its annual recognition of excellence in environmental reporting.
Works must have been published, aired or produced in a media outlet accessible to the general public between March 1, 2018 and Feb. 28, 2019.
The first and second place winners will receive US$500 and US$250, respectively, as well as travel and registration to attend SEJ's 29th Annual Conference in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The deadline is April 1.
