Meduza is looking for a full-time news editor to join its English-language newsroom.
The editor will daily translate short and medium-length stories and aggregate reports into new texts.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and two years of professional or academic experience translating contemporary texts from Russian into English, and a Russian area expertise, including knowledge of the country’s politics, culture and current events.
Candidates living in New England or New York, with professional experience in journalism and social media, are preferred.
The deadline is Nov. 14.
