Journalist provides tips on how best to use Facebook

In a May "Ask the Recruiter" column, Poynter institute’s Joe Grimm gives journalists worldwide a list of tips of how to use the social-networking Web site Facebook.

Tips focus on topics including: being cautious when mentioning private information; who to befriend on facebook; and which is better to use: Facebook messages or emails in dealing with sources.

Journalists are encouraged to take part in sharing their experiences and opinions about how to use Facebook.
