Just Transition Finance Lab online launch event opens for journalists [Worldwide]

Journalists interested in covering just transition and climate finance can attend this webinar.

The London School of Economics (LSE)’s Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment is launching the Just Transition Finance Lab on Feb. 20 online via Zoom.

The lab aims to be a world-leading center for experimentation and excellence in the financial solutions needed for a just transition to a net-zero and nature-positive economy. It will build on five years of research, convening and engagement with partners across the world and catalyze new solutions.

Speakers include: Prof. Elizabeth Robinson, an environmental economist and Director of the Institute; Prof Nick Robins, the Professor in Practice for Sustainable Finance at the Institute; Brendan Curran, a Senior Policy Fellow in Sustainable Finance at the Institute; Prof. Stephan Chambers, the inaugural Director of the Marshall Institute at LSE; Sharan Burrow, a Visiting Professor in Practice at the Institute and formerly General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation; Suranjali Tandon,a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Institute and Assistant Professor at the National Institute for Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) in New Delhi; and Satwat Rehman, Co-chair of Scotland’s Just Transition Commission and Chief Executive of One Parent Families Scotland (OPFS).
