App for journalists: Autodesk Pixlr for photo editing

Journalists are often expected to send photographs back to the newsroom from the scene of a story. Having an easy image editor on your phone can help maximize the potential of your smartphone's camera. Autodesk Pixlr lets you take or import photos, edit them and save them to your phone or share on social media. (Journalism.co.uk, 12/10)
