Journalists from Southeast Europe can submit pitches.
The Southeast Europe Coalition on Whistleblower Protection seeks pitches for fresh journalistic stories on whistleblowing and whistleblowers in the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
The goal is to stimulate journalists in the region to use whistleblowers as a good source of information and for whistleblowers to see media and journalists as good partners in combating organized crime and corruption.
Journalists will be paid US$500 per article after pitches are approved.
Pitches are accepted on a rolling basis until Dec. 31.
