The Equal Measures 2030 cooperative initiative, which brings together global leaders from feminist, civil society, international development and private sector networks, has opened its call for applications for the "Salesforce/EM2030 Fellowship for Data Journalists."

The six-month program aims to strengthen the ability to analyze and use data in communication and provide tools for that purpose. In addition to extensive training, this opportunity includes a two-year complimentary license of Tableau software, ongoing support, access to EM2030 SDG Gender Index data, and a US$1,500 grant to support their work.

Applicants must know the tools for data-driven journalism, have an example of at least one story they have already published using data-driven journalism techniques in news media, and perceive themselves as women or a gender-diverse minority.

Entries are submitted online via a form. A total of eight scholarships will be awarded.

The call for applications will remain open until June 30.
