Editors from Uganda can apply for a biodiversity training program.
InfoNile, in collaboration with Earth Journalism Network, is offering its Editors’ Biodiversity Training Program which will be held in Uganda's Kasese district in February 2023.
The training will incorporate field visits to conservation projects and natural sites to familiarize the participants with the importance of biodiversity and to inspire them to conserve and restore biodiversity in Uganda.
The workshop will also focus on reporting on wildlife trafficking and poaching.
Twenty editors will be selected for the training.
The application deadline is Jan. 6, 2023.
